It's been awhile since I have updated... just trying to keep up with Colten and keep the house ready in case we get a showing. Wanted to share some funny Colten stories.
Loves to throw blankets over his head and say, "tanky". Thinks it is super funny!!
Loves to help me unload the dishwasher, has only broken one plate and is a huge help. He takes the plates out one by one and stacks them for me!
If the dryer is open he will grab the filter, take it to the garbage can, scrape it, and then throw away the lint. He will then bring it back to me. Many times I have been surprised by him standing at the garbage cleaning the the dryer vent. He also likes to help me load and unload the washer and dryer.
He loves to take pieces of the vacuam and go around the house going hrrr with them, pretending to vacuam. He also throws a fit if he isn't the one able to mop
Loves to clean the windows, well just really loves to spray the vinegar on everything.
Loves basketball and baseball. Begs for the football so he can get Tank to chase him thru the house.
Can't get enough of puddles and water. If one of us takes a shower while he is awake, he asks for a "bath bath" and points at his pants for us to take them off.
Harry Potter movies will cause him to sit still for a long time... loves them!
Everything is turned into a gun! he turned his pancake into a gun this morning and pretended to shoot it "phss, phss". Must be a hardwired boy thing because he doesn't get to watch shows with guns.
When we have something he wants, he follows us around going "bite, bite".
Hunter and Colten roughhouse on the bed, and now Colten likes to throw himself onto the pillows face first, he thinks it is hilarious!! Mommy on the other hand has to leave the room when the boys play.
I'll update again later.

Delicious Recipe!
My friend Kelli, introduced me to the best dip! I don't know where she got it from, but I can't get enough of it! I decided I wanted to share with you.
1 can of shoepig corn
1 can of black beans drained and rinsed
6 green onions chopped
1 bell pepper chopped
4 oz of Feta cheese
Mix together with 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, and 1/4 cup of sugar. You don't have to chill, but it tastes great after you do.
Enjoy!!

Christmas Eve
We have been blessed with some pretty amazing friends. Vincent and Kelli are two people that include our family in pretty much everything they do! We have bonded over kids, football, and life. They have two little boys that are Colten's age and they get along really well! They make us feel welcome and like part of the family. We probably spend every weekend with them and often get together during the week. We really don't know what we would do without this friendship. So, they invited us to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner with them. We were pretty excited! Christmas is a really special time for me and my family. We love it!! It was really hard for me to be away from the family this year and being around friends really helped that.
So, Christmas Eve is when Santa arrives and passes out present at the LaRocca's house. We went outside and sang Christmas carols and waited for Santa to arrive. He comes in thru the front door and all the kids are so excited!! The presents giving commences and it was a mad house for a good couple of hours. It was great!!! We had a blast and Santa even found Colten there! Once again, so blessed to have the whole LaRocca family in our life!!
