Faith Maribelle Miller!
We were blessed with our beautiful Faith on Saturday, October 16th. Here's her birth story. Since Faith was breach at 36 weeks, my doctor decided to do an ultrasound on Friday the 15th to see if we could turn her. In the meantime he had scheduled a csection for the 17th in case she wouldn't turn. Hunter arrived home on Thursday and we went to the ultrasound the next day and to our surprise she had flipped! Since I was 3cm dilated the doctor said we could induce the next morning at 6am! So we canceled our plans and called in at 5:30am. They said to come in at 7. We arrived and at 11am they put me on Pitocin. and kept upping my Pitocin. The contractions were not bad at all until the doctor came in a few hours later and broke my water at around 3-4cm. It was pretty much immediatly that the contractions got a lot stronger. I stood and rocked for about an hour until I finally asked for my epidural. By then I was 7cm dilated. My mom, sister, and Colten arrived to keep us company. At first when they got there I wasn't feeling good, but after switching sides a couple of times I was feeling a lot better. I started to feel pressure and they checked me, I was an 8. Then about 3o min later everyone was going to leave to eat and I felt a ton of pressure. They checked me and Faith was right there. My doctor came in and they got me into position and the doctor said, well she has a full head of dark hair. I said wait, " What is she right there?" and he said, "This is going to be a one push baby". Sure enough one long push later, Faith was out!! She was born at 7:32pm and was 7lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches long. She came out very healthy, was a 9, 9 on her Apgar. She looked like Colten in the beginning, but now she looks pretty much exactly like I did as a baby. She is very very loved and is so sweet!

Playing with the car Daddy got him... love his face!
The new gun- my handsome guys!
Everyone loves Hunter!
Love of my life!
Seahurst Park
Colten insisted on sleeping in his jersey! Hunter and I were so proud!
Hunter came home for a visit and Colten and I couldn't have been more excited!! We miss Hunter terribly and are counting down until January when Hunter is done for good! We spent a lot of great family time together. We took Colten to Seahurst Park, Hunter was able to see his daughter on ultrasound, and my guys enjoyed getting new toys and watching the Incredibles together. We are counting down till Hunter gets to come home for Faith's birth... only about 4.5 weeks till he gets here!! Hoping it goes quickly. We love you babe!!

Getting closer!
We have about 10 or so weeks left till we get to meet Baby Faith and am getting pretty excited. Her quilts have been picked out, my mom is almost finished with her older quilt and we just got the pattern for her baby quilt/wall hanging. Very excited! I am happy fall stuff is coming out in the stores, so I can start to look at clothes for her. I got diagnosed with low thyroid levels, so I am now on medication for that and am starting to feel a lot better! Hunter has been really busy with work and we can't wait till we get to see him! Colten and I miss him like crazy!! Colten is very active and loves to be outside! He reminds me of his daddy in just about every single way. He is starting to get excited about Faith and talks to her periodically throughout the day. We are just staying busy so the time passes quickly! Enjoy the pictures!

WOW
Due to the move, I was late getting into my 20 week ultrasound. We had found out at 17 weeks that we were having a boy. So at 24 weeks, I went in for my ultrasound and at my new doctor, they do 3d/4d ultrasounds. Everything looks great, baby looks really healthy. Imagine my surprise when my little boy turned out to be a little GIRL!!!! They had gotten it wrong at 17 weeks and man were we shocked. She is adorable!! Now, it's back to the drawing board for her nursery and name. We really like Faith Maribelle and I can't seem to get it out of my head. SO I am leaning towards that. Poor Colten is so confused, he keeps saying that the baby is Beaux and a brother, but after 7 weeks of calling her by that name, he should be confused! :)

Happy Father's Day
I want to wish my husband a Happy Father's Day. You are truely an amazing man who works so hard to support our family. Thank you for everything you do!! Colten and Beaux are so lucky that you are their Daddy! and I am sooo lucky that you are my husband. I am amazed everyday by all the little things that Colten does or things about his personality that are just like you. I wish we were there with you, but am so excited to see you in just over a week! We love you and can't wait to see you!

Lawnmower
We spent last weekend getting the yard ready for spring. Hunter mowed the yard while Colten and I weeded and planted flowers. We were hanging outside the next day when Colten grabs his play lawnmower and pretends to pull the string and makes mowing noises. It cracked me up! He picks up on things so quickly! Now he loves to do it to make us laugh. Love that little man!!

Big News!!
Colten is going to be big brother!!! This next one is due around Halloween, October 26th! I am nine weeks tomorrow and have been dealing with a little bit of morning sickness. I am having a hard time eating anything that's meat. Pasta seems to be a no go too. We went to the doctor on Wednesday and baby looks good, strong, it's heartbeat was 169. Colten seems to be pretty excited, he loves to lift up my shirt and say baby and then kiss my belly. We couldn't be more excited!!

Colten Funnies
It's been awhile since I have updated... just trying to keep up with Colten and keep the house ready in case we get a showing. Wanted to share some funny Colten stories.
Loves to throw blankets over his head and say, "tanky". Thinks it is super funny!!
Loves to help me unload the dishwasher, has only broken one plate and is a huge help. He takes the plates out one by one and stacks them for me!
If the dryer is open he will grab the filter, take it to the garbage can, scrape it, and then throw away the lint. He will then bring it back to me. Many times I have been surprised by him standing at the garbage cleaning the the dryer vent. He also likes to help me load and unload the washer and dryer.
He loves to take pieces of the vacuam and go around the house going hrrr with them, pretending to vacuam. He also throws a fit if he isn't the one able to mop
Loves to clean the windows, well just really loves to spray the vinegar on everything.
Loves basketball and baseball. Begs for the football so he can get Tank to chase him thru the house.
Can't get enough of puddles and water. If one of us takes a shower while he is awake, he asks for a "bath bath" and points at his pants for us to take them off.
Harry Potter movies will cause him to sit still for a long time... loves them!
Everything is turned into a gun! he turned his pancake into a gun this morning and pretended to shoot it "phss, phss". Must be a hardwired boy thing because he doesn't get to watch shows with guns.
When we have something he wants, he follows us around going "bite, bite".
Hunter and Colten roughhouse on the bed, and now Colten likes to throw himself onto the pillows face first, he thinks it is hilarious!! Mommy on the other hand has to leave the room when the boys play.
I'll update again later.

Delicious Recipe!
My friend Kelli, introduced me to the best dip! I don't know where she got it from, but I can't get enough of it! I decided I wanted to share with you.
1 can of shoepig corn
1 can of black beans drained and rinsed
6 green onions chopped
1 bell pepper chopped
4 oz of Feta cheese
Mix together with 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, and 1/4 cup of sugar. You don't have to chill, but it tastes great after you do.
Enjoy!!
