Trip to Tennesse

We traveled up to Tennesse last weekend to meet our new nephew and ended up driving thru Alabama where Hunter's Grandma lives. I had never met her and it had been years since Hunter had seen his Grandma. We were very excited to be stopping there for dinner. We ended up getting up there around 5 and were able to meet Hunter's Aunt Cheryl and his cousin, Lauren and her family. We had a very nice dinner while the kids played. After dinner and dessert, we left and we got up to TN right around midnight. So around 3am, I started to get really sick! It was horrible. We went over to Allegro's house where they put me in a room away from Noah! an hour later, Colten started throwing up and we ended up driving 10 hrs home that same day with Colten and Mommy having the stomache flu! Two days later Hunter ended up getting sick! We are all feeling a lot better and sorry if we got anyone sick! So I was so excited to meet Noah and I barely got to look at him! He is very very cute though!! and of course Hunter didn't get any pictures! So sad! Next time I see that little munchkin he is going to get some big loves from Auntie! Mimi, Colten and Hunter

9 months

Can't believe Colten is 9 months old already!! Time really flies! We took him in for his 9 month appointment on Thursday and he had actually lost weight! He is down to 23lbs 5oz and is 29in long! Still a big boy... very healthy minus his cold. He was sick this last week with a stuffy nose and cough. He ended up having an ear infection and is now on antibiotics~ :( Sad! After being on medicine for a couple days we notice we have our sweet little boy back. He was very very fussy there for awhile! Our other boy (Tank) also has an ear infetion and is on medicine as well. Let's hope everyone starts feeling better in our household! Oh and Colten let go to today and stood by himself for like 5 seconds! Crazy! His doctor told us that he will most likely be walking before one, so we will see.

New Camera!

Blue Eyes!
Always on the move!

Love those little lips!

So innocent!
Playing with Tank

Hunter got me a new camera for Christmas, but unfortunately it didn't work correctly and we had to wait to return it until we got to Louisiana. So, that means pretty much all of my pictures are on my mom's and Brooke's camera! I am going to have to get Brooke to send me some. Yesterday Hunter and I took my camera back and got a Canon Powershot. I love it! There are some pretty cool effects on the camera and the pictures are turning out much clearer. Also, the shutter is really pretty fast and with an almost 9 month old that was a necessity.

Christmas!

We had so much fun in Seattle!! It really makes the urge to move home, that much more! Colten and I arrived in Seattle on December 14th, 2 days earlier than expected. Colten was great on the plane, just really tired...it was bed time. We got in late that night and when we woke up in the morning there couldn't have been a happier little boy! Hudson was so excited to see his Colty! We arrived to a little bit of snow, which soon turned into a ton of snow!! I have never seen that much snow at my parent's house. Almost 12 inches! Hunter arrived on the 23rd. Colten was very excited to see his daddy! Christmas was wonderful! It was wonderful to actually spend Christmas at home again. I haven't been able to spend a Christmas with the family since we moved to Louisiana. Colten actually knew how to open presents and was really pretty good at it. We had bought a stuffed frog for Colten and he was so cute... he crawled right over to it, pulled himself up on a box, grabbed it, and starting squealing and hugging it! Now he sleeps with it at night. We really enjoyed getting to spend such quality time with the family and our friends. While we were there, Colten really flourished. He can now pull himself up on everything, is starting to cruise around furniture, actually waved and said bye (happened only once and we actually had to look around and ask if that really happened), waves hello, and just is so social! He also got his first tooth. We had to take him in to his peditrician in Seattle because we were worried about an ear infection (no infection, just teething), but he was 24lbs 8oz! He is getting soo big! Next week he will be 9 months old. Where does the time go! Anyways I will post pictures at a different date.

Noah Clark was born with a full head of dark hair and was right around 6 1/2 lbs and 19in! We are still in Seattle, but will be heading up to Tennesse to meet the newest member of the family next week! We will post pictures then!!
