1 year checkup

This one comes and knocks on the back door! Colten loves the duckies
Our baby ducks with mama. They come right up to us and eat out of our hands and let you pet them.

"Quackers"- comes running when he sees us outside
Bad pic of me, but my little boy loves me!

He is so handsome! What a good dog!!

Going down the slide

My cutie!

Loves to shut the door on us and starts knocking

I took Colten to the doctor for his 1 year checkup and he was 25lb 13oz and 31in long! His weight has slowed down and he is now in the 75th for both weight and height. He is healthy and his ears are starting to clear up! yay! Colten can now point out his belly button, mommy's nose, ear, and mouth. When we ask for a kiss, he puckers up his lips and leans in to give us kisses. Well actually he pretty much just gives Mommy kisses. He also is starting to run. He has started saying Tanky, Daddy, and Mommy instead of TA, Dada, and Mama. He is such a happy boy, we are just having so much fun with him! One of our favorite things to do is chase him with the vacuam cleaner... he starts cracking up and runs to our bedroom door! So funny.

My Mother's Day

Our family
Colten's 1 year picture

I had a wonderful 2nd Mother's Day! I was treated to no baby duty at night, I was able to sleep in, and my hubby made an awesome breakfast!! Cheesy grits, eggs, and blueberry pancakes! We were able to just relax and hang out as a family. I had also really wanted to get Colten's one year pictures taken and that is what we did! Made my day and made me so happy! I took a picture of the pictures, so they didn't turn out the best. But, they turned out so good!! I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and an amazing son!!

One of my favorite pictures! Colten was helping Grandpa make coffee

We had so much fun in Seattle!! Colten slept the whole way there and was able to get on Seattle time right away (always nice!) I got to meet Little Miss Lilah for the first time and I do have to see she is the cutest little girl ever!! She is just so sweet and tiny, but with some chunky cheeks! And Hudson is just the best with her!! We went to the store and he kept yelling, "Have you seen my sister" and telling Brooke that, "I just want to tiss her" So Sweet!!! In fact Lilah doesn't really cry, except for when Hudson tries to love her a little too much, and then she gets a little bit upset. Colten had fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa and exploring their house. My parents still have a lot of Hudson's toys and our old toys and Colten really enjoyed those! We celebrated Easter while we were there... The Miller's won the Easter egg Hunt! He learned a bunch of different things while we were there... The day before his 1st birthday, he just took off walking! Going around corners and just taking off! He had been doing like 5 or so steps, but mostly crawling, but that day he just decided to take off. He also learned some words... Artie (my parents dog), Mamaw (Grandma), and gandpa (Grandpa). We are missing home and can't wait to be back up there!!
